Album Notes
Personality, the sum total of our past experiences, our habitual behavioral patterns and the thoughts that run through our mind's each day, effects all aspects of our lives, both internal and external. It is how we present ourselves to others and ourselves, as well. Yoga and meditation form a process of transforming the personality so as to become more in line with one's true spiritual nature. Since the interaction between one's personality and meditation practice is a intimate part of a spiritual path, it is very important to understand this dynamic, and Swami Veda offers us a clear and practical understanding and approach to this topic in this seminar.

He examines the nature of personality and explains the yoga science of personality. He explores the Yoga philosophy of mind and it's approach to pleasure, the cycle of desire and self-identification. We learn about self, ego and identify, of training our inclinations, of the slow purification of the subconscious, of developing relaxation through our daily life, of sensory enjoyment, right pleasure and proper control.

Swami Veda guides us through how meditation transforms the personality, as well as the approaches to take toward meditation. We also learn of the importance of patience in the practice, of the art of stillness and the pleasure of concentration, of dealing with thoughts in meditation, of the need for centering and refining experience, and the nature of true meditation.
