ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hey! What the hell do you do with a bunch of great songs after the bell tolls for thee? Well, you record them obviously and let the clamoring public have at it! \"A Fond Farewell\" is a Farewell to Arms of sorts. Each of us Sweet Leaf Boys has had a grand ol\' time making music together over the last 8 (count \'em) years, but now we\'ve gone off on our separate life missions, as it were. Nonetheless, we\'re proud of all the good music we\'ve made and played and it just didn\'t seem right to not document the final swan songs of our most recent live sets. So here you have a funereal dirge with a sometimes mighty joyous sound. A work of art and love and, yes, plenty of work. We look forward to these songs making it out into the world by hook or by crook and we offer a very special note of thanks to all the good folks both near and far who\'ve supported us in any little way over the years. This album, \"A Fond Farewell\", is dedicated to anyone who ever gave a Damn!
