Album Notes
THE SWEET REMAINS is the unusual collaboration (these days) of three lead singer-songwriters. Featuring 3-part harmony and folk-rock instrumentation, the band was born in 2008 when RICH PRICE, GREG NAUGHTON and BRIAN CHARTRAND met for a chance jam-session in a Rhode Island hotel room and felt they had discovered a special synergy.

The band's music has been featured in film & TV, highlighted by USA Today as a 'pick of the week,' and included in best-selling Putumayo 'Acoustic Cafe' compilation. Releases include:3

Laurel & Sunset (studio album 2008)
Live At Canal Room (CD/DVD 2012)
North & Prospect (studio album 2013)
Merry Christmas (single 2013)

The Sweet Reamins...
This debut release is great. As you Listen, the songs have a classic kind of sound but with a new perspective to them. The arrangements are extremely well done and the lyrics are thoughtful and relevant. And just when you think you will stay in a certain groove, they shake things up a bit with songs like "Ghosts in the Orange Blossom Chair" and "What I'm Looking for". I am anxious to see how they will present themselves in a live show. Well done, gentlemen!

Sweet Remains new Cd
Oh my gosh! Awesome!!! Love it! All the songs are so great..you just want to play it over and over. Their harmony together is just so perfect. Love all the tunes but one song in paticular really gets to me "Printemps A Paris" I personally think that could be a major hit..incredible! As is the whole Cd! Congrats you guys-you did it big time!

I am a "music" person and would gladly recommend TSR to anyone. I have always enjoyed the singer-songwriter genre, but this album is particularly interesting, due to the intricate and layered harmonies that make good songs great. All of the guys have their own distinct and unique feel, but at the same time, they keep things cohesive. It's a special collaboration and not one to miss.

worth the wait
I anticipated the release of this CD after seeing The Sweet Remains Live at the Canal Room, NYC a couple years back. Let me just say the wait was worth it. I don't even know how to describe it in detail because it's just all great. The musicians, the acoustics, the talent, the voices, the lyrics...I strongly suggest buying this album! No matter where you are, this music is able to take you to another place. It makes my morning subway ride MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE!! great work, as always!

The Sweet Remains
I love harmonious vocals and these 3 male voices work very well together and hint at hours of practice. The songs are original and folk or country with a smattering of soft rock. I would like the next album to be less romantic and more from personal life experience in content. Its original but could offer more daring in its creativity. Its easy on the ears.

I was just searching on the internet and came across them. I love their sound. I just got the CD and listen to it over and over. It's just great music!

I don't know a band out there right now that can touch what these guys have going on. In a world full of overly produced crap, this beautifully brings you back to basics in the most amazing way.

Great New Disc
The Sweet Remains debut CD "Laurel and Sunset" is an amazing collection of tunes lyrically and melodically--the guys have found a way to masterfully combine their individual talents as singer-songwriters to create a sound that fans of acoustic/folk/rock should not miss. Favorites are "Dance With Me" "Leading Me Home" and "Ghosts in the Orange Blossom Air"..along with all the great tunes on the rest of the disc. Amazing work Rich, Greg and Brian!
