Album Notes
Bad Ass Funk was conceived by American composer Tad Sisler. Tad's horn arrangements were performed by legendary trumpeter Steve Madaio, who performed, recorded and arranged the horns on Stevie Wonder's "Songs In The Key Of Life", as well as with countless other artists including Earth, Wind and Fire, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand and perfomed at Woodstock with the Butterfield Blues Band. Also on horns was popular Southern California sax player Steve Alaniz. Guitars were conceived by Chad Quist, an amazing studio guitarist who has performed and recorded with headliner artists including Steve Miller and Tom Scott. Drums were performed by Andrew Fraga, Jr. & Matt Foster and tracked at Dave Weckl's studio in Los Angeles. This is one funky track!
