She relocated to Cape Town where she continued her voice training and then left for the U.S. to continue her tertiary education and graduated from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles with a four year Bachelors degree in Communication and Fine Arts. After returning to South Africa, Tamsin further developed her talents and succeeded in directing a number of music videos, commercials, documentaries and notable short features which had screenings at festivals such as Cannes, Fespaco, Toronto and Berlin. All along she maintained her passion for music, singing on "The Best of" album for "The Honeymoon Suites" and composing "Running Down the Mountain" with Nick Turner of "The Sons of Trout". She sang with the band “Keep The Change”, with Tigger Reunert and David Goldberg. Tamsin recorded a two-track demo with Ben Amato at Tim Parr’s Studio and the track was picked up by an award winning Canadian producer, Greg Kavanaugh.
