Tangy are aggro-pop tarts influenced by strong Italian Espresso, Le Fee Absinthe, The MC5, Killdozer, The Sountrack of Our Lives, Nuggets Box 1 & 2, loud vintage amps, etc...

It's been 3 years since Tangy made an album that truly changed the musical landscape. It's been 3 years since they wrote an album of such spirit that you felt compelled to adopt a swagger as you walked through the streets of your neighborhood.

"Sorta Like Very Ultra" is that album. It's the Tangy that blew you away and a Tangy you've never met.

Its not about one particular song. It never has been. It's about an old attitude that somehow got lost amidst the tabloid hoo-ha and the mountains of hype, coupled with a complete reinvention of how and why Tangy exist.

Tangy are four individuals, who have pushed, pulled, laughed and fought inside the four walls of a studio, for what seemed like forever, to reach the light. And now they've arrived, its positively blinding.
