This is the first solo release for Tani Tabbal. Long known for his electrifying, yet sensitive musicality, this album brings various musical styles, from jazz to avant garde and world music. Instruments played are drums, electric drums, djembe, congas, doumbek, timbales, marimba.

BIO:
Tani Tabbal became known as a drummer who plays with electrifying, beautiful fluidity, with mastery of odd and mixed meters. His artistry, recognized early by Oscar Brown Jr., SunRa and Phil Cohran, expanded into a mix of recording, performing, and touring, to include jazz legends Roscoe Mitchell, Anthony Braxton, Oliver Lake, Muhal Richard Abrams, Henry Threadgill, Richard Davis, David Murray, James Carter, Geri Allen, Cassandra Wilson, Karl Berger, Leroy Jenkins, Rod Williams, Greg Osby, Steve Coleman, Griot Galaxy, David Fathead Newman, Jackie McLean, Evan Parker, and Dewey Redman.
