Album Notes
The multi-faceted reggae artist is a tribute to female determination and drive. The petite and diminutive singer with the big voice leaves an indelible impression and cherished memories on audiences the world over with her distinctive vocal styling, exciting and compelling stagecraft. With a discography that stretches back to the 1990s, Tasha’s longevity can only be explained by her dedication, versatility and creativity.

2010 proved to be a defining moment with the release of “NEW DAY”. The hard hitting single emphasized the need for a change and positioned the artiste on her current rise to the top. With 2010 behind her, Tasha T continued her assault on the reggae scene in 2011 with “ONLY A WOMAN KNOWS”. The single’s popularity led to the video release and continues to get consistent rotation and airplay. The fan appeal that had eluded this positive artiste throughout the years was finally a reality. Her hard work in 2011 gained her the Linkage Awards coveted Canadian Artiste of the Year.

Tasha T is no stranger when it comes to providing positive upliftment for young people. In 2012, she served as the musical ambassador for the Read Across Jamaica Foundation, an organization whose mission is to introduce creative and interactive methods of reading that encourage children to enjoy literature. During that period, she visited over 20 primary schools in Jamaica, participating in reading activities and providing words of encouragement.
