Album Notes
After working for more than a decade as a sideman and session musician, 2013 brings on the release of his first solo album, entitled: one man band. A true solo album, with every single instrument played by Taylor, including: vocals, guitars, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, piano, organ, accordion, harmonica, saxophones, clarinet, flute, drums, percussion, jaw harp, ratchet, screwdriver, pots, and pans.
one man band is also entirely self engineered, mixed, and mastered using a 4 track cassette recorder and an ancient computer.

Taylor's other credits also include:

Major songwriting force and longtime member of MarchFourth Marching Band, The Uprite Dub Orchestra, ESEN, and a slew of others.

Performed at numerous stages and festivals around the world, including: Hollywood Bowl, House of Blues, Wakarusa, Jam Cruise, High Sierra, Voodoo Fest, Bumbershoot, Festival International, Telluride Blues & Brews, Floyd Fest, Bear Creek, Tour de Fat, and many more.

Taylor Asiong Aglipay was born in Eureka California. His introduction to music was through an old piano that occupied the family room. He played saxophone in middle and high school band. At 15, he took a few private guitar lessons and started a band with his friends. In 1998-1999 he attended the California State Summer School for the Arts in Valencia. There he studied world music, guitar, and composition during two six-week sessions.
From 2001-2003 he studied music at Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon. There he played in the school jazz bands one and two, jazz combos, and the symphonic band. He studied saxophone privately with Brian Dickerson and flute with Tessa Brinkman. During the summer of 2002, he attended the Berklee Summer Seminar in Los Angeles; an intensive, week-long, jazz workshop. He graduated from Mt. Hood Community College with an Associates of Arts with a special emphasis on music.
He then attended Renton Technical College in Washington, where he studied woodwind, brasswind, percussion, and string repair techniques. After graduating from Renton Tech he began working at Tigard Music, where worked until he set up a repair shop of his own. He now performs quality instrument repairs, overhauls, and custom modifications. He has repaired and restored thousands of musical instruments of all shapes and sizes.

Taylor has been playing music professionally for more than a decade in a wide array of musical contexts. He is or has been a full time member of many musical projects including:
