The Japanese word, Tayutou - meaning to drift about or sway to and fro - can be traced back to the 7th century book of Japanese poetry, Manyoshu. At a time when Japan was still developing a written language, the word Tayutou was meant to evoke a graceful view of the world and a sense of fairytale fantasy.
What happens when you mix the age-old sensibility of Japanese Yure (tremor or vibration) with the popular sound of U.S. born swing?
These elements combine here to form the sound of Tayu-Swing.
