ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
T-Boy is a Dj and Performance artist in NYC. Originally from Miami Fl., He's lived in New York city for 12 years and hit the floor running in the performance/nightlife scene as a featured performer, dj, actor and model. Born into a family of Actors, artists, rappers and singers, T-Boy has earned credits on film projects such as "My Super Ex-Girlfriend", "American Gangster" and "Law & Order- Criminal Intent". In 2005, he was cast as Aaron, in "Titus X" the musical, a live rock and roll adaptation of the original "Titus Andronicus", by Shakespeare. As a drag performer, he's performed at many NYC nightlife events, including 4 years as a featured performer for Gay Pride's "Stagefest" and "Queens Pride" festivities, as well as opening a tribute show for dance music icon "Ultra Nate", featuring nightlife alumn from all over. 3 time Glammy award winner for 2005 "Breakthrough Artist" and twice recipient 2006/2007 "Best Alternative Artist". Village Voice columnist Michael Musto describes T-Boy as a "nouveau cup of mocha chocolata yaya" after seeing a performance. After a few inevitable NYC spills, T-Boy found himself back at square-1. Sleeping on sofas and befriending the classifieds in the Villiage Voice. Using his single monday night "Voyeur Vixen" party @ "The Slide" as collateral, an unexpected turn of events soon took place, "DJ gigs started snowballing for me it felt like". Today, T-Boy holds fort as a DJ in and around Manhattan, and works 5-6 days a week spinning and hosting from Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen, to West Harlem, his home in the city. He's worked other DJ/model and performance jobs From his hometown of Miami, to Berlin and Koln, Germany, where you can view "Pride @ Work", by G.M. Anders, currently hanging @ ARTCLUB Koln. It's a behind-the-scenes photographic synopsis of T-Boy's performance during 2005's Gay Pride events. Other photo showings are @ the Leslie Loehman gallery in SoHo, shot by Fernando Espinosa, and "Desperado" a Homograpic potrfolio by Fred Berger, sold in NYC and throughout most of Europe. T-Boy moved to New York City with a hundred dollars and a dream and that dream was to ultimately, "sing my own music"! T-Boy is currently finalizing tracks from his upcoming debut album, "Acquired Taste". A few tracks to note are the sultry, "Ready Or Not", (about a girl), a fetish electro banger about dominance and submission, "Lick My Boots" and the debut single, "Magnificent Soul, all produced by T-Boy's long-time friend and talented singer/songwriter/musician, Houston Bernard. The album has already been revered as "refreshing" and "sexy"! Look for the finished product in 2013'.
