Album Notes
Brothers Bradley and Brandon Weaver have been creating and performing music separately for the past 20 years. Aside from Biffen’s Bridge and Dutch Oven, two bands thrown together for one bar show each during winter breaks from college, the brothers have never collaborated on any sizable project. Enter Team Weav, a rootsy, Americana flavored full length effort to be released in November 2010.
After completing a year-long personal challenge to compose one new track a week for an entire year. Brandon approached Bradley about taking some of the most promising new tracks and shining them up a bit. Bradley took the ten tracks, along with three of his own, in various stages of completion, reworked lyrics, added bridges and set project Team Weav into action.
Recording all parts in their studios in Denver and Fort Collins, Bradley and Brandon spent about 11 months bouncing ideas, instrumentation and arrangements up and down Colorado’s front range. The tracks were mixed and mastered at Brandon’s Your Sister’s Studio in Fort Collins, with the brothers sharing producing credits.
