ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ted was born in the Yukon and has been writing songs for over 30 years, performing at coffee houses, open mics, porch parties, folk festivals and on his back deck. He studied classical and jazz saxophone at university (Victoria, Berklee) but mainly plays guitar and keyboards now. His music is influenced by popular artists like the Beatles, Bowie and Harry Nilsson but also folks like Loudon Wainwright III, The Burning Hell, Lucinda Williams, Tony Ashton, Bob Snider and so many others. He works in the software industry in Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario and decided to work with local studio wizard Fred Smith to produce an album of his material that showed off his songs in the best possible way. Ted hired professional musicians to supplement his own guitar and keyboard playing and produced this collection of 10 eclectic, melodic and clever songs. Come along for a drive through his neighbourhood.
