Album Notes
Ted is a singer/songwriter and bass player living in Los Angeles, CA. His voice has been called 'whiskey soaked and soulful', his songs have been compared to Lucinda Williams, Rodney Crowell and Ryan Adams. This record features 7 songs Ted wrote or co-wrote as well one Townes Van Zandt song, Tecumseh Valley. Ted constantly tours the US and Europe and putting out his own records. He blends the poetry of being a singer/songwriter with his love of rock, country and soul. His records have consistently done very well on the Americana and Euroamericana Radio charts. Aside from making his won music, he played for years as the bass player for Shooter Jennings, Wilson Phillips, Wanda Jackson, Whitey Morgan and others and has produced many records as well. Ted plays solo bass while singing on most of this record with special guests Jason Sutter on pizza box percussion on two songs, Aubrey Richmond on violin on one song, Dave Tolley on percussion on one song. Aside from playing bass and singing, Ted also plays dobro on a song and trumpet on another.
