ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Alain Chiarazzo: acoustic-electric guitars
William Kopecky: fretless bass
David Lillkvist: drums and percussion

Based in Marseille, France, TELESCOPE ROAD is a meeting of three musicians from three different countries who together create strikingly original progressive music.
On electro-acoustic guitars we find Alain Chiarazzo, virtuoso French guitarist and founding member of the legendary Eclat. One-of-a-kind fretless bassist William Kopecky (Kopecky, Michael Angelo Batio, Par Lindh Project) hails from the USA. They are joined by innovative Finnish drummer David Lillkvist (Parr Lindh Project, Gjallarhorn), who has earned a well-deserved international reputation.
In 2015 the group played at the ProgSud festival (France), toured Japan, played at the Rock ad Ovest festival (Italy) as well as numerous concerts in Marseille in the south of France.
In 2016 the group released their debut self-titled 6 track CD, three of which are instrumental and three which include vocals. One track features the Finnish vocalist Cleo and another with South African singer Sbongile Mbambo. Also guesting on two tracks on the album is Nabankur "Pinku" Bhattacharya on tabla and voice.

In the summer of 2016 the group did a French tour that culminated with their performance at the Crescendo Festival, France´s largest progressive rock festival.

2017 finds the band playing numerous dates in France, England, Finland, and Japan.
