ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ten Mile Tide's fifth studio release, The Finish Line's Got Nothin' on the Race, is a sonic journey through soulful Americana, down-home honkytonk, and good ol' fashioned rock n' roll... with a hint of git-down funk. Taking cues from groups like The Band, The Grateful Dead and more modern sounds like Wilco, The Finish Line's Got Nothin' on the Race captures the group, already recognized for their songwriting prowess, at its most diverse and captivating to date. As an added bonus, Ten Mile Tide teamed up with guitar wizard San Lehe (Isabella, The Bumptet, Poor Man's Whiskey) on the album, adding a new electric guitar-driven angle to the group's acoustic sound led by acoustic guitar player/banjo player/singer Justin Munning. If you are looking for a feel-good, summertime party album that can make you relax and want to get and dance in one sitting, this is it.
