Album Notes
The Tennessee Voodoo Coupe is geared up, road tested, and ready to blast off into outer space with its debut long player, Over The Moon!

TVC takes the listener on a wild joyride with Over The Moon as the road map. The first stop is a little juke joint on the wrong side of the tracks, where they play the "Hillbilly Bop" and keep the joint jumping' 'til dawn. You'll also do the "Tennessee Voodoo Boogie" with a "Hot Rod Voodoo Gal" and make a few more orbits just for kicks before rounding out the rock crazy journey in a "Long Black Cadillac" as the boneyard buggy completes your trip. There's no stopping this platter once you set it in high gear, so hold on and dig the ride.

The 4-piece TVC road crew are well versed in traditional rockabilly, hillbilly and swing flavoured sounds, spiked with a punk rock energy. Jump shouter Big Rude Jake is at the wheel with Steve Good on the doghouse bass, guitar wrangler Stevie "Six String" Abrams providing the big twang, and standup drummer Don Dekouchay completing the crew. These restless cats each provide crucial piece of musical hardware to give TVC its own unique spin.

The lean machine has become an in demand live combo in its Southern Ontario home base and beyond. Since forming 2006, TVC has share the stage with rockabilly luminaries including Sleepy LaBeef (given a nod here on "All The Time"), Deke Dickerson and Rosie Flores, as well as numerous top contemporary acts. The group have also hosted Toronto's "East End Rockabilly Riot" event since its inception just short of a decade ago, helping put rockabilly with a hillbilly swing back on the map in the 4th largest metropolis in North America.

This is a band that moves to the rhythm of a "Rock'n'Roll Heart," and takes its calling to bring its music to the people seriously. With the release of Over The Moon, TVC's international fan base will be able to dig the sound in a full Stereo-Phonic experience. Get ready for blast off and let 100 proof hillbilly jive group TVC put its voodoo spell on you, with tales of junk heap jalopies, wicked dames, moonshine liquor, hot rod races and a trip to the stars.
