Album Notes
Story behind the song:

"I wrote this song several years back about the feeling we get when heading out for a big celebration and with the New Years Eve celebration in mind. I was also thinking about private Jet city hopping.

The first time I performed the song was at the home of Legendary Guitarist and Country Music Hall of Fame Member Wayne Moss. He liked the song and joined in with his great guitar playing. I did several live shows in Nashville that year with Wayne and the first time this song was ever preformed live was with him.
A couple of years later I recorded my first version of the song at the Tracking Room Studio in Nashville Tennessee, entitled "Let's Paint the Town" with Buddy Hyatt and some awesome session musicians. I was really happy with the recording and thought it was a great rendition of the song. One day after sharing it with Wayne, he replied, "I thought you wanted me to record with you on that one", and I said, yes I did, but you were very busy at the time and I didn't want to bother you. I was really thrilled and honored to hear that he was willing to do a recording on it so, that is how this version came about. I told Wayne that I would love to have some harmonica on the song, and was thrilled to have one of the best harmonica players in the world Charlie McCoy agree to be on the recording. I performed guitar, bass guitar, and drums on this version with Wayne adding his great guitar work, and Charlie adding the awesome harmonica! I am so thankful and honored to have another recording with these guys. One of the first guitar riffs that I ever learned was from Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman", and Wayne was one of the original guitarist on it, and Charlie was also on the recording. These guys have recorded and played with more notable people than I could possible mention, and were both members of the groups "Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry". I encourage you to check these guys out, because they have produced some amazing music!

I released the first version of this song on New Years Eve 2014 because it was the main theme behind the song. I'm releasing this new version on another special celebration, "Labor Day"!!!! I hope you enjoy the song and that it finds you having a Great Time!!!!!
