ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Story Behind The Song:
"This song came to me after receiving my Dad's organ from my cousin Rhonda. She flagged me down one day and surprised me with it. She said I have an organ and I think it was your Dad's. It's been in the attic for years and I wanted for you to have it, if you want it. I was so surprised when I saw it! I had a memory of playing around with it as a child and was overjoyed just to see it! I told her that I have very few things of my Father's and I'm overwhelmed with the feeling of Gratitude! She said, it's very dusty and I'm not sure if it works or not, but it's yours! I offered to pay her for it but she refused and told me that it was back where it belongs.

When I got it home I cleaned it up and was excited to see if it still worked, but when I plugged it in, it didn't. I thought, well that's ok it will still look great in my studio and it was my Dad's. Later I decided to take it apart and see if I could possibly fix it, thinking it might just be the switch. I was really glad that I did because when I bypassed the switch and plugged it in "Bam" it was running! As I was putting it back together to see if it would play, I noticed that it was manufactured the same year I was born. I thought how awesome, and now I was really hoping it would work. When I plugged it in, it came on and sounded just as I had remembered. It was playing and stuck in the chord of D, so I thought, heck might as well play around in D a little while. After about 2 minutes of messing around the melody for this song came out and within 10 minutes the song was written. Pretty weird and awesome at the same time. While I was writing the song, I was thinking about the season I had with my Dad and how it had passed to quickly. The organ brought back some happy memories of being with my Dad that I will always cherish, and they reminded me of how precious our loved ones are.
Everything on earth is here only for a season so, if your hurting don't loose Hope, and if your Happy and have someone to love, be very Thankful! I hope that you enjoy the song and that it finds you well!!!!" Tepoe
