Album Notes
Teresa Endres got interested in singing at the age of 14 while enjoying Western music on the radio, especially the Grand Ole Opry. Hearing yodelers like Patsy Montana inspired her to learn to yodel and become an entertainer.

Teresa is the 14th child in a family of eighteen living on a farm near the small town of Hazel, South Dakota. She got an early start singing and playing guitar at local functions and rodeos. The Farmers Union was an early supporter, having Teresa perform for their meetings, camps and conventions. The Union eventually sponsored her radio program on KWAT radio in nearby Watertown, SD, from 1949 to 1954. She went on to perform with five of her children for the local 4-H, PTA and hospitals. She was the part of several groups including recently with Clara Schmitz's Country Rose Band.

Teresa has also performed often with her friends Sherwin and Pam Linton. Sherwin Linton and Teresa Endres have been friends from the early days in South Dakota, where Teresa became one of Sherwin's earliest heroes (as she remains today).

“Yodelin' Cowgirl” was recorded in Mountain View, Arkansas, with a hand picked group of folk, country and bluegrass musicians. Appearing on the CD are Dave Campbell (bass, recording engineer), James Cornwell (Dobro, banjo, steel guitar, rhythm guitar, bass), Tim Crouch (fiddle, mandolin, Lauren McArthur (drums, keyboard, musette, flute), Hank Blumenthal (mountain dulcimer), Eulaine Blumenthal (auto harp, vocal harmony), Pam Linton (vocal harmony), and Sherwin Linton (Producer, rhythm guitar).
