Album Notes
What they say about "Kitchen Radio":

"Teri Joyce is country by any definition." -- Jerome Clark, rambles.net

"She has one of the most unique and true to traditional country voices I have heard on record in years. It is as if Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn dipped their voices in honey to make one sweet combination ... Am I gushing? Yes, I guess I am. Hell, I am allowed – this is real country, folks." -- Wade Phillips, Outlaw Magazine

"She's about as tall as a shotgun, but she's larger than life behind a microphone." -- John Conquest, Third Coast Magazine

Teri Joyce sings the songs that built the honky-tonks and writes the songs that will keep them standing. The renowned Texas songwriter's timeless originals have been covered many times over and set the standard for new American roots music -- vintage in style yet accessible to a modern audience. With her band the Tagalongs, Teri delivers her own sizzling brand of classic country and western, rockabilly, western swing, and more. Teri's ball-of-fire stage presence and honest country voice have made fans at home and abroad, with both U.S. and European tours. Though small in stature, Teri Joyce looms like a giant to those who still want to hear REAL country and roots music.

"Kitchen Radio" is the debut collection of 14 original tunes from the gal who wrote Marti Brom's standard, "Blue Tattoo". Teri co-produced "Kitchen Radio" with legendary Texas honky-tonker Justin Trevino. The record features two duets with Roger Wallace and showcases perennial Tagalongs Jim Stringer, Dave Biller, Lisa Pankratz (Dave Alvin, Ronnie Dawson) T Jarrod Bonta, and Brad Fordham (Jerry Jeff Walker, Dave Alvin). "Kitchen Radio" also includes special guests Brennen Leigh, Cindy Cashdollar (Asleep at the Wheel), Floyd Domino, Marty Muse (Robert Earl Keen, Kelly Willis), Kevin Smith (Willie Nelson), Bobby Flores, Eamon McLoughlin (The Grand Ole Opry), Ruby Jane Smith, Jake Hooker, and Jim Loessberg.

Teri Joyce's "Kitchen Radio" is for those who still remember a time in country music when you could still cheat in a song and smoke in a bar. Turn up the volume, and let's all go back there together...

... and stay 'tuned' in, because Teri is thrilled to be back in the studio for her new record," It's All For You", set for release in late 2018. "It's All For You" gathers a dozen hand-picked tunes written by Teri and features many of the same amazingly talented honky-tonk heroes found on "Kitchen Radio", including Lisa Pankratz, Brad Fordham, Dave Biller, Jim Stringer, T Jarrod Bonta, Brennen Leigh, and Teri's long-time duet partner, Roger Wallace. Check terijoyce.com for updates on "It's All For You" -- because it is, you know!
