Album Notes
For a Song and a Dance is Dorothy Parker's lament on the French Riviera in 1926 after Ernest Hemingway breaks her heart. This song is from a musical tribute written by and starring Terrie Frankel, originally performed at the Groundling's Theatre in Hollywood. Terrie Frankel is a best selling author, along with her twin sister Jennie. Both performed at the Comedy Store and Improv in Los Angeles, as well as the USO. Feminist Icon, Helen Reddy says, "Terrie Frankel is one of the most underrated songwriters in the US and I have loved her work for many years. Together with her late twin, Jennie, they wrote many wonderful songs as well as book and lyrics for several productions."
