Album Notes
In memory of my parents, Gerri Lee Ramsey & Chester William Green who encouraged me to follow my dreams.

Thanks to my Grandparents: Nanny & Poppa who gave me solace on the farm and taught me the meaning of the Ramsey Family crest "work & pray" & Doris June, whose gift made this financially possible. Chester Green, "Big Daddy"; he is the co-creator of The Nashville Grand Ol Opry, Country Music Awards, & lots of KRAFT televised Christmas broadcasts with performances by Perry Como, The Mandrell Sisters, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Don Ho...and many more....

In pursuit of a dream, I've been singing all my life (mostly in the car). Thanks so much to JJ Pearce Choir Director, Mr. Woody Christman & Forte. Bliss: singing with you all.

Special Thank You to Malford Milligan who encourages me to "get up there & sing!" & connected me with Courtney Audain & CoinheadMedia, who arranged & recorded this album in sacred studio space, in the childhood home of Nancy Griffith. Courtney is amazingly talented & has played with many bands including, The Neville Brothers, Timbuck 3 & Killer Bees/TX Reggae Band. I am so grateful. Thank you to the musicians of Austin, who inspire me with your courage, dedication, talent & grace, especially, Ian Moore, Lisa Tingle & Patty Griffin...(Patty told me one day, on a movie shoot, "I know a singer when I see one" and I hadn't uttered a peep...with her mention, she gave me the boost of confidence I needed to record this)....and to all the wonderful artists I have had the pleasure to work with as makeup&hair for various projects: Antone's Home of the Blues, Clifford Antone & Susan Antone & to Margret Moser, who graciously included me, for many years, as part of the SXSW Austin Music Awards Show as makeup/hair in the green room. Thank you to Ann & Nancy Wilson, Stevie Nicks & Linda Ronstadt, Angela Strehli, Bonnie Raitt (& so many more) for blazing a path for Women in Rock.

Thank you to The Nicely's: my sister, Michelle, her husband, Daniel & my nephew, Sam, (he rocks!) & my niece, Grace, (she rolls!) I Love You.

Thank you to my GodChildren: Alex, Meagan, Tyler, Zach, Sammy Jo & Maddie...each of you have a special place in my heart and thinking of you makes me smile every day. Proud of you all. Mahalo

Mimi, Thanks for listening...Love.
