Album Notes
A classically-trained countertenor with an extreme range, and versatile voice, Terry Barber is equally at home in the concert hall, recording studio, theater, and opera house. He has been a soloist for Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, and Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall, to name a few. Terry was a member of the Grammy-winning Chanticleer, and the solo voice of Adiemus V (EMI). He has recorded for Sony, Warner, EMI, Columbia Records and his own record label, rEvolv Music. Terry’s recordings can be found on iTunes, CDbaby.com, and associated with an iPhone application. With a masters in historically informed performance from Trinity College London, where he directed vocal ensembles, Terry Barber is committed to supporting arts education, and has recently accepted an “Artist In Residence” position.
