Album Notes
Terry Rivel is a Philly/South Jersey based singer-songwriter, and he has performed at festivals, house concerts, coffeehouses and nightclubs from northwestern Pennsylvania and New York City down to South Carolina. Beginning in the late sixties, Terry was inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Johnny Cash, Jerry Jeff Walker and many other artists. He began his music career playing at the Perimeter Coffeehouse, which was the longest running coffeehouse in South Jersey by the early nineties. He began writing songs about his life, travelling, people and love interests around 1985, and never looked back. Now, he delights audiences with his humor and stories, both in his songs and about the songs.

Terry now hosts an acoustic song circle at the Barrington Coffeehouse, in Barrington, NJ on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, where he and his partner, Benita Segal are often feature performers.
