Album Notes
Terry Stafford born in Hollis Oklahoma moved to Amarillo, TX at a early age where he graduated from Pala Duro high school. at 17 he moved to LA to pursue a singing career, he signed with " Crusader Records" where he recorded " Suspicion" his biggest hit which sold over a million records. He then signed with " Atlantic Records" Nashville, where he recorded " Has Anybody Seen My Sweet Gypsy Rose" "I'll Touch A Star" "Captured" and wrote and recorded " Amarillo by Morning" and " Big In Vegas." Terry won BMI's winning song award 3 times in 1970 the " Country Award" 1983 the " Pop Award" and 1984 the " Country Award " again. After being released by Atlantic Records Terry recorded songs for independent songwriters and record labels in Nashville, nine of those songs are on this CD Terry died in 1996 from liver disease and, "THE LEGEND LIVES ON"
