Album Notes
Now in its fourth year, That Choir combines a high standard of performance with storytelling through choral music as one of Toronto’s most exciting a cappella groups. Formed in the spring of 2008 by Craig Pike and 14 of his actor friends, That Choir now draws together 24 auditioned members with diverse backgrounds in work and study.

New Canadian artists are important for That Choir to nurture and have already performed new works by J. Scott Brubacher as well as Reza Jacobs in December 2010. In May 2011, Tyson Kerr was our featured composer. December of 2010, That Choir invited Canadian Theatre Artist Nancy Palk to read Dylan Thomas's " A Child's Christmas in Wales" as part of That Choir Carols - an annual celebration of the Holidays. In May 2011 That Choir went on tour to Niagara on the Lake, Ontario .

Craig Pike was born and raised in St.John’s Newfoundland where he was part of one of Canada’s distinguished amateur choirs for young adults in Canada – The Quintessential Vocal Ensemble conducted by Susan Quinn. While in St.John’s, he studied music at The Memorial University School of Music and choral conducting with Dr. Douglas Dunsmore. In 2004 he moved to Toronto attendThe George Brown Theatre School and most recently had the honour to apprentice with conductor Susan Quinn. Craig marries his love for theatre and choral music thru acting with The Shaw Festival of Canada as well as conducting That Choir in Toronto, Ontario.
