Lloyd Thayer
Good Album, I really enjoyed it. It's exactly what I was looking for!

Mark Dudys

Great one man show. Good lyrics that tell a story with soul.
I can highly recommend this CD. If you like deep soleful blues delivered with deep voice with a little rasp tone, this is it. Love the harp and the slide.

Straight From The Heart
This is an amazing CD - recorded on a street corner, you'd swear it was a studio album as regards the quality of the production. But apart from the technical side, this is beautiful simple blues music. It contains all that wonderfully heart felt emotion that Lloyd Thayer has seemingly captured for his own. This is one man and his dobro guitar - it doesn't get any more basic than that - down to earth, honest, in-your-face blues played superbly and you just know he means every word he sings. I honestly don't think I know of a better voice for singing this style of blues music. If you like simple music and raw emotion played with style then I recommend this album. I love it.

Darren "Deicide" Kramer

Street corner blues? Hell yeah. Lloyd Thayer busts out gut wrenching vocals and slide guitar in a surprisingly good sounding live CD. Whoa, what's that craziness you acheive in the middle of "Love in Vain"?! Love it.
