ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
the alec mcelcheran trio; the blue in everything. 11 original songs coming at the blues from different directions. We aren't trying to be T-Bone Walker or Muddy Waters. we aren't trying to be Albert or B.B. or Freddy King. These songs all come out of blues chord changes and blues song forms, but we're feeling our way to this music as musicians who've listened to and played classic rock, R'n'B, punk, funk, country, alternative... That doesn't mean that this record tries to sound like all these styles, in fact it's a pretty rootsy record of story songs, leaving plenty of room for the rhythm section to groove and the guitar to move.
