Album Notes
"Dear friends,

It is with great excitement and humility that I present to you The Anima Series' first album, 10x10. The idea for this project was born out of some discontentment I was experiencing regarding the "worship" genre of music. In my view, worship music is the only type of music that is dictated by it's content rather than it's sounds. Yet everything that I was hearing with the "worship" label sounded exactly the same. I knew I had plenty of friends who we're creating new, dynamic, and interesting music for the glory of God. I also knew that the majority of the friends and acquaintances were getting any notice on a large scale. This album is an attempt to challenge what is perceived as the stereotypical worship sound, while promoting some of the best undiscovered musical talent in the Chicagoland area.

I never thoughts that a project born out of frustration could bring me such joy. The disc you hold in your hand is the fruit of hundreds of hours of volunteering, thousands of prayers, and your unbelievable generosity. This project would not have been possible without your contributions, and it would have no power to inspire without your listening ears. Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy, and as always, keep being awesome."
