I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry (Remix)

Album Notes
Hank Williams was an amazing and prolific young songwriter from the fifties. "Did you ever see a robin weep, when leaves begin to die..." is just a sample line from this song. His ability to create such emotion in so few words is unsurpassed.
Denis Jones's melancholy and soulful performance along with Lucy's and Karl's tender harmonies all blend together to make a little work of art.
Renowned guitar and dobro player Jim Hornsby sat in on this session and took the song to an even higher level with his masterful skill and art.
