Album Notes
This is the album Jesus Himself would spin at His own birthday party.

Recorded by Grammy Award winner Stuart Sullivan in Austin, Texas this new non-traditional holiday album by The Austin Blues Revue is rollicking, blues injected record will become a classic. Featuring artists from the heyday of Stevie Ray Vaughan combined with today's top artists, the selections span the gamut of Vintage American Blues from scorching Texas Blues and sublime Muscle Shoals strut to Detroit Soul and post war swing.

Featuring 16 top touring artists from bands including B.B. King, Johnny Winter, Delbert McClinton, Storyville, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Marcia Ball, Memphis Slim, Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets, Linda Ronstadt, Willie Nelson and too many more to list, the album is what you would expect from The Live Music Capital of the World.

This isn't your grandfathers holiday album. Oh, heck no.

Austin was the epicenter for a world-wide blues resurgence that changed the face of music. Many of the artists from that heady time reside in Austin and contributed to this album. Recorded live in the studio with an eight piece band featuring Mark "Kaz" Kazanoff and the Texas Horns, and "Mr. Antone's" Derek O'Brien on guitar with production by Mark Epstein from Johnny Winter's band, the album sparkles with energy.
