ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Blaire Reinhard Band is a 4-piece pop-rock group from Morristown, New Jersey. “Steps On The Ceiling” showcases songs that are catchy yet unpredictable, with memorable melodies, poignant sing-along lyrics, and epic endings. Blaire’s voice is the common thread, unifying their repertoire with its distinctive character; from the soulful “I Don’t Deserve You” to the sentimental “Wishful Thinking”, the grungy “Gutterbottom Blues” to the folky “Could It Be”, Blaire's always right in her wheelhouse. Gray Reinhard wails on organ when he’s not hammering a piano or holding down the acoustic guitar, and Wade Perrin's melodic basslines lock in with drummer Keith Woodward's rock-steady grooves.

Really enjoying this album
This is a superb, talented group fronted by Blaire, doing great original material. Blaire is as solid a singer as you'll hear with a soaring, soulful voice that can do it all. If you like the ladies with big voices and great emotional and musical depth like Jennifer Nettles, Eva Cassidy, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, etc. you'll like Blaire. Look for her other offerings on CD Baby as well.

You can also check them out on YouTube - search Blaire Reinhard and Blaire Reinhard Band - you'll find performances on their own BlaireReinhardBand channel and elsewhere including some great MTV-style music videos.

This CD ROCKS!!
I love a CD where the music quality is so high and the choices are so unexpected. There's a mix of blues, rock, country, bringing old skool to new skool and Blaire's voice is AMAZING - look out! I could listen to her all day/all night. And her band is awesome!! Some serious players. This CD is a must for any real music lover!

steps on the ceiling
I have been lucky to have this cd for a few weeks now. I play it often. I dance as soon as I hear the first few notes and start to sing along. I'm amazed at how tight it is and how diverse.

Steps On the Ceiling
Sometimes CDs don't do justice to great live groups. Happily, this debut album captures the excitement of the Blaire Reinhard Band's fabulous shows. Blaire pulls out all the stops here, and her crackerjack band proves it is as polished in the studio as it is onstage. If you love clever songs with tight harmonies and more hooks than a bait-and-tackle store, "Steps On the Ceiling" should be in your CD player, and on your iPod, by George! KC
