ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The band released their first album Blue News (wordplay with the words “New blues”) in 2006 and have since released four more studio albums: The Signs (2007), Strange Light (2008), Good At Falling (2010) and Wartime Songs (2011). They have also released three singles: New Tattoo (2017), Freak Out (2018) and Touch The Sun (2019). As an independent band they managed to reach a huge audience and earn regular income from royalties while managing to keep 100% of their own publishing. The band currently has their most recent album Wartime Songs available on CD from any record store and a total of 48 songs available virtually everywhere streaming and downloads are available.

Their original music began getting widespread attention as early as 2007 when they placed two songs on national television. The songs Love’s So Strong and Next Time were selected for the series Road Trip Nation on PBS. By 2011, the band succeeded further with several more song placements on national TV and in video games.

That same year they were able to work with studio guru Jim Devito and producer Sylvia Massey on the album Wartime Songs. The song Two Lovers was selected by band members of Sublime to be included on a compilation CD called Fresh Cuts Vol. 7 and 50,000 copies were distributed in Guitar Center stores nationwide. That same year, the band recorded a 45-minute blues album (Now out of print) and won second place in the state of Indiana for the Blues Foundation’s “Best Self-Released CD” competition. In 2012, the band made the decision to stop playing live to focus on songwriting and producing more high-quality recordings. In 2013, the song Come Back Home was placed in the film Force Of Execution.

“They play raw, organic rock and roll. I’m a fan!”
- Producer Sylvia Massey

Things really began to take off in 2016 when the song Just A Game was used in an official trailer for the film Demolition, four of their songs were selected to be in the popular video game Rebel Galaxy, and the song Running Back To You was picked up for the Netflix series Bloodline (S02E03). Between 2016-2019 the number of plays for their music skyrocketed. In early 2016, they had reports of 10,000 total plays on Spotify and their songs are now approaching 1 million verifiable plays on Spotify and YouTube in 2019.
