Album Notes
The Burning Bush gospel singers were formed by Thelma Johnson (Manager) and, Annette Powell (Assistant Manager) in May of 1988. The group consists of nine saved young men.

The Burning Bush are recipients of numerous awards throughout the Washington Metropolitan area, including Best Performing artist in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. In addition they were awarded 1st place in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2nd place in 1997 for Best Dressed Group.

The Burning Bush have performed with other artists such as The Canton Spirituals, The Gospel Keynotes, The Williams Brothers, Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's, The Nightingales, The Highway QC's, Luther Barns, Shirley Caesar, and Vickie Winans. The Burning Bush have traveled the east and central coasts, as well as St. Martin and the Bahamas in the Caribbean Islands.

The group members are Jerome Powell Jr., Stacey Johnson, Willie Johnson Jr., Derrick Faison, Donald Jones, Anthony Bynum, Keith Wharton, Jeremy Powell, and Ronald Issac.
