ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Carolina Bluebirds enjoy sharing their love of cheerful and moving songs from the early- to mid-1900's, and introducing audiences to rarely-heard gems that were popular in their time. Caroline Covil (vocals) is joined by Graeme Card (guitar, resonator guitar, and vocals) and Ian Johnston (guitar, ukulele, banjo ukulele and vocals). Ian and Graeme are long-time musicians with bands such as Rig-A-Jig, The Chattering Class, Humphrey and the Dump Trucks, The Slowpokes,The Garden City Blue Blowers and The Jug Bandits. Caroline’s clear and sweet soprano vocals and warm delivery suit the music perfectly and balances the ragtime guitar picking.
