Recommended. Would like to hear more.
Beautifully produced, tastefully arranged, expertly written and sung in an understated yet compelling style. Erik Balkey’s songwriting and performance chops are well known among songwriters. Teaming up on this with Annie Donahue results in a special duo and album that will be on regular rotation on my playlist.

Rick Hasenauer

a stellar duo
The music made by The Copper Ponies provides a pleasurable journey through the imagery created by voice as well as lyric.....the harmonies are beautiful, the instrumental accompaniment subtle and appropriate, as is the lead vocal on each song of this cd. I highly recommend this wonderful recording.

Eternal Sunshione of the Spotless Song
Annie Donahue & Erik Balkey are brilliant songwriters as the show on "It's a New Year Now but show that they are also original interpreters of other people's songs on the rest of the tracks. The arrangements are natural you feel it is the way the songs want to be heard. The music is sweet with a thread of regrets for things gone by ore yet to be.
