Album Notes
Swinging At The Savoy written by Ian and Holly was recorded at Candle Studios, Kensal Green, London. The rhythm section comprises of Oli Hayhurst on bass, Stuart Ritchie on drums, Les Davidson on guitar and Alex Hutton on piano. Ian plays all horns and Holly features on vocals. The song was composed while Holly and Ian were regular performers at the Savoy Hotel, London and the lyric references many of the famous patrons of the hotel. These include Marlene Deitrich, Cole Porter, Charlie Chaplin etc.
