Album Notes
The Crown Moran Allstars formed to play a regular Monday night gig at the Crown Moran hotel in Cricklewood, London, England. The music is jazz based but includes aspects of reggae, funk, world music and latin styles. It features the saxophone playing of Ian Ritchie who is saxophonist in the Roger Waters band and composer of the Globetrekker theme. Danny Keane plays for the Gorillaz, Mariah Carey, Tom Baxter, Scott Mathews and Damon Albarn when he is not at the Crown. Tom Fry gigs with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band and Neil Innes. Mike Searl can also be seen gigging with the New Crusaders when he is not touring Africa. Time Out magazine said that "the Crown Moran Allstars Monday night gig was one of the best jazz events that you could see in Cricklewood on a Monday night".

Ian Ritchie is featured on tenor, soprano and baritone saxes. The recording was made in Candle Studios, Kensal Green, London W11. All the takes used are complete live performances. Danny Keane plays an original Fender Rhodes stage piano.
