ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Currach's music reflects a broad set of influences from Irish and Scottish traditional music, centered around the fiddle and traditional singing. The music shows a style honed mainly by live performance and the social aspect of traditional music--as you might hear it played in its native setting. Dance music and songs take equal place in the mix of music played by this band, owing to all members being strong vocalists. This is music played for pure enjoyment in the company of friends.

Its rare that a band can reflect the spirit of a good pub session on a recording. This recording will fill your car or kitchen with Last Night's Fun
