Album Notes
"Remember, this is for the live album," they said, before leading the enthusiastic audience in a rousing chorus of the ABC song sung simultaneously with "Twinkle twinkle little star" and "Baa baa black sheep." This is The Dead Poets in a nutshell. Their audiences would come for classic poetry performed to catchy, original musical arrangements; by the end of the evening, they invariably left with enormous smiles (sometimes holding ribs sore from laughter).

What makes The Dead Poets so special? Sure, their voices blend remarkably well, their harmonies rich and sweet, and their arrangements are both surprising and delightful, but it's their live shows that showcase their unique onstage chemistry. Seven years after the concert at which these songs were recorded - and ten years since their last release - this collection of songs demonstrates what their many fans have known for years: The Dead Poets are a rare gift to poetry lovers everywhere.

"The Dead Poets III: Life is Fine" is the first of several planned releases in the coming year, as the band returns to the studio to record new songs, while also delving into their archive of live concert recordings.

Artistry in their fingertips!
Once again "Life is Fine" when the Dead Poets come out with another poetic enterprise! What makes them so unique is the way they take a poem and musically refashion it so it seems like you're hearing it for the first time. Each of the musicians are artists with a capital A. Well done indeed!
