ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Deep Eynde began in 1990 by lead singer Fate Fatal (A Million Machines) after his departure from industrial band Kittens For Christian (Sony). Although the sound was inherently dark, The Deep Eynde's melody came from a wide spectrum of genres including new wave, gothic, punk, indie and electronic.

The band's first album titled City Lights was released by German record company, Apollyon Records and featured Oren Karpovsky on bass, and Killjo Zapata, a well known guitarist in the underground LA gothic scene. Two years later, and a line up change, the band released the album Suicide Drive which featured new guitarist Daniel deLeon (Insaints /Rezurex). During most of the 90's The Deep Eynde toured North America which included annual performances at NYC's infamous CBGB's.

In 2004, The Deep Eynde's third album Shadowland had caught the eye of skateboard legend Duane Peters and were signed to Bomp Records in California. Six months later the band was signed to German label People Like You Records, with a European distribution deal through Cargo UK.

In 2007, The Deep Eynde released the album Bad Blood, featuring new guitarist Daniel Overberger. Bad Blood was a heavy hitting album which brought the band on national European tours with Agnostic Front, The Damned and 999.

In 2010, The Deep Eynde recorded Spell*bound, their final full length album through Cargo Records UK. Two songs on this release feature Gitane Demone of the band Christian Death. Spell*Bound is the crown jewel of The Deep Eynde as it exhibits the band's extraordinary ability to work with a multitude of music genres.
