Album Notes
The Deep Woods Band was formed in the winter of 1999-00 by a group of mid-valley Oregon musicians whose goal was to play the kind of music they loved and didn't get to see locally. With influences as diverse as The Rolling Stones, The Holy Modal Rounders, The Grateful Dead, Mingus, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Ray Charles, and The Mugwumps, they are difficult to pigeonhole.

Featuring the gruff, blues-tinged vocals & guitar stylings of the apparent leader, Bob Shade;, the full voice & howling harmonica of The Rev. A. J.Studley make this a band to experience live! Add to this mix drummer T Bone Empey, underpinned by the ever -present Isaac Jones on bass and vocals. Rockin' Blues & Americana with a dose of psychedelia
