Original Sin

by The Duke Street Kings

This one has some Dwayne Allman slide, some surf punk, some straight up blues, some Etta James, some 80s over the top metal, some rage against the machine and a duet of an old Stones song...what more could you be lookin' for?

Album Notes
We are proud of this one! Over six years in the making. CCC was written during Ws first term (warning..graphic,hippie, pinko, rock and roll politics involved!). As you can see it took a village…Thanks to Ryan Stewart (Tatooed Airline Captain) for Line of Blue and Kevin Moore (Right Brain Lawyer?) for Just Because, to Mighty Mike McGee for the inspiration for Awesome Sauce, and Oscar Wilde for inspiring (practically writing) the words to Temporary. Thanks to Kevin for the Cover Art, Dave Ashton for giving us some street cred, my bro John and Carrie for designing the rest of the liner. Thanks to Ziggies and The D Note for giving local artists an outlet. Thanks to everyone who helps out at our Blues & BBQ Festival and most of all thanks to all of our friends who keep coming out and listening to our music. In the words of Mick and Keef, “May the good lord shine a light on you, make every song you sing your favorite tune…”-The Duke Street Kings, 2012
