Album Notes
The Jarrah Celts is an acoustic celtic band based in Western Australian. We started off playing at our local pub for beers and it grew from there.

The key members on this album are Ian Walker (Vocals/Guitar), Grant Black (Banjo/Accordion/Mandolin), Jane Slater (Fiddle/Vocals) and Chris Horgan (Flutes, Uilleann Pipes, Double Bass, Bodhran).

For Foggy Dew we had our good friend Bri Clark sing for us. We met Bri and a gig at the Underground Cabaret Club and encouraged her to sing with us. She was so good, we though we would do a recording and we put it on this album.

This album contains some of our original tunes, which we hope you will like. We have also included some old classic popular favorites that you may have heard from likes of the Pogues, Dubliners, Christy Moore and Annie Grace.

Our recorded tunes sound very much like our live pub sessions. We record with the same instruments you will see us play live.

Check out our website for more information about us, including details and stories about the tunes on this CD.
