ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The brouhaha records group is pleased to re-release the classic 1972 debut album by The Hans Staymer Band.

The album features the song "Dig A Hole", which was a minor hit in North America at the time, and also contains some outstanding covers of songs by the Band, the Beatles and Taj Mahal.

Personnel:

Hans Staymer - lead vocals and harmonica
Robbie King - RMI Piano (left-hand bass); organ and acoustic piano
Eddie Patterson - guitars
Wayne Kozak - electric sax
Paul Burton - drums and percussion

Hans Staymer's original name is Hans Stamer - the "y' was added to make pronunciation of his name easier. Hans later reverted to his original name, and the Hans Stamer Band performed extensively in the Vancouver region. Stamer released numerous albums on the Blue Streak label (brouhaha records group).
