Album Notes
Let's Go Down to the River featues 9 of Queen Bee Zamagnis originals built on her rock solid bass playing and rootsy vocals. This collection of Southern Roots/Blues celebrates our more than 30 years of touring Internationally with a Who's Who of Blues; Jerry Boogie McCain, Chick Willis ,Chicago Bob Nelson, Nappy Brown and others. Featured on this release are our friends Soul Legend Roy Roberts, Big Ron Hunter " The Worlds Happiest Bluesman" and Harmonica Virtuoso/Chicago Blues Master Carey Bell. The King Bees stopped just learning from records in the 1980s and headed from our North Carolina home throughout the South learning firsthand from the masters of Blues and Roots music.
