Album Notes
“Going Nowhere,” Take 2. The first iteration of the group’s debut album, “Going Nowhere,” was released in 2007. Back then, the boys were interested in mixing the album themselves, and thought that it would be cool to release it in mono. Needless to say, after hearing how “SuperSmooth!” turned out, they decided that it would be wise to take another stab at their first LP, and to give it a proper stereo release.

Work commenced in the early part of 2017, with Christopher once again taking on the role of producer, and Grammy-nominated mix engineer, Blake Eiseman, leading the mixing effort. While initially believing that the project would be relatively straightforward, Christopher and Blake quickly realized that the original mono mixes were quite adept at masking blemishes. Following a few months of tedious work – which involved stripping down, chopping up, and fine-tuning the original tracks – the final stereo mixes were completed, formally giving birth to this second edition.

While the characteristic appeal of the first release remains fully intact – led by songs such as “My Imagination” and “I’m So Alone” – the added sparkle and detail of this updated version yields an entirely new and immersive experience. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the second take of “Going Nowhere!” Thank you for your support!
