"Little Stories" is the first full band album from The Land of Deborah who's music has been described as "feel good folk pop" with "... one of the smoothest voices in the city".
A collection of songs that are real and raw, this is the full realization of her "little stories" as she hears them in her head. With a jazzy, folky vibe the album has been crafted to create a deep, immersive experience.
Though the subject matter can be very emotional, one's spirit is lifted. Heartfelt lyrics from her personal experiences often had her questioning if she should reveal so much. Hearing from her fans how much the music had brought healing to their own experiences encouraged her to keep moving forward.
The musicians featured in "Little Stories" bring a unique sound and character to the music:
All tracks feature Willingdon Black on Lead Guitar, Johnny Wildcat on Bass, and Shawn Killaly on Drums. All background vocals are sung by TLOD
Except for:
Smash on Bass for "Not Today" and "Afraid I Do"
PJ Herman on Percussion for "Afraid I Do"
Super Robertson on Bass and Two Sticks Hobbs on Drums for "Beautiful"
Additional Background Vocals for "Afraid I Do" and "Pulled Under" by D. Trevlon.
Additional Background Vocals for "Take on Me" by Fiona Rodrigo
