Album Notes
Resulting from a late night jam at their Brooklyn loft, Green Dickey and The Spud People has always been a favorite recording and inside joke of The Laughing Dogs. During the session, the program includes The Wayside Lewis Group, The Original Eyerack Space Module, and headliner Green Dickey and The Spud People.

It's a hot summer day at the rock festival in Hynieminutz Falls, Nebraska. Jimmy Jacuzzi is emcee and broadcasting the event for WFOT Radio.

The Wayside Lewis Group, with their brand of psychedelic blues, is the perfect opener for the festival. Everybody is up dancing already, the ladies twirling their colorful long skirts.

Next a heavy metal group, The Original Eyerack Space Module, briefly draws the crowd into their musical adventure.
But everybody's waiting for the headliner. The crowd is excited. Eyes turn to the roadies moving in equipment behind the stage. Green Dickey and The Spud People have arrived!

As the Eyerack Space Module take their applause and leave the stage, the new setup begins - the huge Marshall amps, the amazing collection of Wah Wah pedals. Before long Creem Jamora is tuning her bass, Sleej is warming up the drum set, and Eyelash Man is coasting in with his guitar, cape flapping in the wind. Suddenly Green Dickey himself strides onto the stage, provoking a hush in the audience. Then Eyelash Man waves his cape, and the whole stadium echoes with resounding applause.

From the first notes of the guitar solo everyone is ecstatic, rocking in time with the songs they've been waiting for. Green Dickey takes us on another voyage into Psychedelic Land, where everything is translucent and there's nothing to get hung about.
